Lindsay Lohan, the artist currently known as Inmate #2409752, had her yesterday brightened a bit by a group of visitors who came to spend time with her at her current home at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA. While I’m pretty sure that #2409752 was prolly MORE excited by the load of snacks and packages she received the day prior, I’ll bet she was happy to spend time with her mother Dina Lohan, her sister Aliana Ali Lohan and her ex-girlfriend and current BFF Samantha Ronson:

As you can see, Mama Dina brightened up considerably when she realized she was being photographed (much like she did last week when she visited then) … Ali, as usual, seemed to shun the attention and Samantha was uncharacteristically smiley. Despite the fact that father Michael Lohan penned an atrociously hideous song for his daughter, he was not allowed in to see Ms. Lohan. I believe yesterday’s visit was the last family visit for Inmate #2409752 before she gets sprung this weekend. Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, will likely be visiting L. Lo this weekend and then … she’s out. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been almost 2 weeks of Lindsay in jail … where does the time go?

Britney Spears 'Glee' Episode Will Be 'Hallucinogenic,' Show Creator Says

'Fun and unexpected' tribute to pop princess will air September 28.

Grab your schoolgirl outfits and whip out the boa constrictors — "Glee" is going Britney Spears. On Sunday (July 25), the cast of the show and creator Ryan Murphy were at San Diego Comic-Con, where they revealed a few details about their plans to pay tribute to the pop princess' catalog.

"All I can say about that is that we're doing six Britney songs, and then Brittany (Heather Morris) is doing a Britney song," Murphy said about the episode, which will air September 28 (Tuesday). "We're paying tribute to her in a sort of fun and unexpected way." Murphy also described the episode as "hallucinogenic."

The Washington Post reported that the cast is expected to receive the script for the episode, which will be called "Britney/Brittany," on Monday (July 26).

Back in May, "Glee" star Mathew Morrison told Us Weekly that an episode dedicated to Spears' music was just a rumor planted by her manager. "I hope our show doesn't go along that route," he said at the time. According to EW.com, Morrison's character will echo those sentiments. "The entire episode is Schuester saying, 'I don't want to do Britney! I don't want to do Britney!' " said Murphy.

TVGuide.com reports that Glee is set to make its return on September 21 (Tuesday), with the Spears tribute serving as the season's second episode.

Last week, Spears let her "Glee" fandom slip in a tweet to fans. "Watching @GleeOnFox. What are you guys up to tonight?" she said.

What Britney classics do you want to hear on "Glee"? Share your thoughts in the comment section!

Eminem, Usher, Alicia Keys and T-Pain have been added to the performance lineup of the BET Awards '10, going down on June 27 in Los Angeles. The hitmakers will join a star-studded bill that includes previously announced performers Kanye West, Drake, T.I., Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Ludacris.

A BET rep also confirmed that a Michael Jackson tribute is slated for this year's show, hosted by rapper/actor Queen Latifah. The 2009 event became an impromptu MJ homage after the icon died just days before the awards show aired. Host Jamie Foxx memorably Moonwalked and spoofed Jackson's "Beat It," and stars like Ne-Yo, Ciara and Keri Hilson paid homage to the icon during their performances.

Rolling Stone reported on Thursday (June 17) that BET insiders confirmed viewers can expect a performance of the monster collaboration "All I Do Is Win," featuring DJ Khaled, T-Pain, Ludacris and Rick Ross. The magazine also teased that the "All I Do Is Win" collabo is set to feature a special guest.

Jay-Z leads this year's BET Awards nominations with five nods, including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Video of the Year for both "Empire State of Mind" and "Run This Town" off his hit The Blueprint 3. Beyonc, Alicia Keys and Drake also picked up multiple noms, with Mrs. Carter and the soon-to-be Mrs. Swizz Beatz both vying for the Best Female R&B Artist trophy and Drake competing with Hov for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist. Teen sensation Justin Bieber also received a nod for Best New Artist.

Soul singer John Legend will be honored with the Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic work while the legendary Prince will also be celebrated: The Purple One will receive the ceremony's Lifetime Achievement Award. This year's show, to be broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium in L.A., will mark the 10th anniversary of the BET Awards.

We are just under a week away from the launch of Madonna‘s new juniors clothing line called Material Girl and already promo materials for the line featuring celebrity spokesmodel and Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen are popping up all over the place:

New behind-the-scenes photos and video from the ad campaign shoot have become available and show that Madonna and her daughter Lourdes Maria were very hands on during the shoot. Madonna actually got behind the camera to shoot some of the photos while Lola acted as shoot stylist. After the jump, check out some of these behind-the-scenes photos and check out some fun video …

Yes, Taylor Momsen is the PERFECT spokesmodel for this line of clothing. She seems to embody the girl that Madonna and Lola are trying to target with this new clothing line:

I really love that Maddy and Lola are working together so closely on this line. It’s so cute to see them as collaborators as well as mother and daughter. It remains to be seen if Material Girl will sell well to young girls who may not be as enamored of all things Madonna but having Taylor Momsen on board will prolly help in that department.

Chris Evans Says There'll Be Comedy In 'Captain America: The First Avenger'

'We're not cracking jokes, but they did find a way to add humor,' film's star says.

Ever since the big announcement that "Captain America: The First Avenger" was in motion and its star, Chris Evans, was in place, movie and comic book fans alike have been chomping at the bit for as much information about the movie as they can get their eyes and ears on.

When the soon-to-be star-spangled superhero himself stopped by our Comic-Con live stream recently, we not only learned about his costumes, his reservations about taking on the role and the relationship between Cap and Bucky, but also what tone the film will have compared with previous comic book adaptations, like Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" and Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight."

Evans promised fans that "America" will be in line with both the comic and recent comic book movies. "The nature of comic book movies in general — look at ['X-Men Origins:] Wolverine,' you have swords coming out of a guy's knuckles, it's all a bit fantastical," he said. "It's about a good script, a good director, finding a way to ground it in reality, even if it is a bit dreamlike."

Evans added that consistency is key in keeping fans invested. "As long as you stay consistent, you can get the audience to commit in the beginning and go for the ride, I think they'll jump onboard and not try and burn holes in our consistency." Regarding the definitive tone of "America," Evans said there is a healthy combination of comedy and drama, and that it will have a distinctive "shine" to it.

"They did mix in some good comedy," Evans revealed. "It's not comedy on the nose, we're not cracking jokes, but they did find a way to add humor." As far as the look of the film is concerned, however, Evans referred to a conversation he had about it with director Joe Johnston.

"I definitely asked Joe, what kind of gloss are we going for here? Is this going to have the kind of 'Spider-Man,' 'Fantastic Four' shine? He said it's not going to be that glossy, not that colorful, but we're not going as dark as something like 'Batman.' "

"I think it will be a nice happy medium," Evans added. "I think the world of 'Iron Man' was done really well. It stayed grounded in reality and yet still stayed true to the fact that it's a comic book movie, so it does have to have some life to it."

Diddy, Trey Songz Applaud Chris Brown's Emotional BET Awards Performance

'He left his heart on the stage,' Songz says of singer's Michael Jackson tribute; host Queen Latifah and others also react.

Folks had nothing but love for Chris Brown, who fell apart during his tribute to Michael Jackson at the 10th annual BET Awards on Sunday night (June 27).

At the afterparty, hosted by the tag team of Diddy and "Hustle & Flow" actress Taraji P. Henson, everyone from a show producer to the cast of the soon-to-be-revived BET series "The Game," as well as some of the night's winners and presenters, had something to say about Brown's emotional performance of "Man in the Mirror," during which the singer fell to his knees crying, genuinely unable, it seemed, to sing the song.

"You know who stole my heart tonight?" Henson asked.

"Chris Brown!" answered Diddy, host Queen Latifah, BET personality Tigger and a group of others in near-unison.

"He was so vulnerable," Henson continued. "I love you, Chris!"

During the tribute, Brown channeled Michael as he danced to "Remember the Time," "Smooth Criminal" and "Billie Jean."

The winner in the Best Male R&B Artist category, Trey Songz, said, "Chris killed that. He left his heart on the stage. He gave genuine emotion. I was proud of him and I was happy for him for having that moment." Songz didn't mention Brown choking on the lyrics during the song: "He did that justice. Everybody's been waiting for that."

Brown may have been waiting for his turn to do a tribute to his idol Michael Jackson, but he also was happy to have an opportunity to speak to his fans later in the show.

"I let y'all down before, but I won't do it again," he said as he accepted the award for the AOL Fandemonium prize, which was presented by siblings Brandy and Ray J. "I promise." Fans voted online, giving Brown the win over Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz and Justin Bieber.

'Thor' At Comic-Con: Everything You Need To Know

'Thor' At Comic-Con: Everything You Need To Know

From Chris Hemsworth's preparation for the role to Thor's costume and hammers, here are the details we've learned so far.
By Eric Ditzian

Almost a week after Marvel debuted the first footage from "Thor" at Comic-Con, the video has popped up online. Now it's not only the lucky nerds that swooped into San Diego last weekend who get to gawk over the incredibly cool footage, which includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor laying down the hurt on some S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, a close look at the mythical gods of gold-plated Asgard, and Thor swapping spit with the scientist played by Natalie Portman.

The Con simply delivered an embarrassment of "Thor" riches, and to help everyone get a handle on what was revealed, we've gathered all the available info right here. Read on for everything you need to know about "Thor" at Comic-Con.

How Hemsworth Prepared: Vikings and Mike Tyson
Early in 2009, the Australian-born Hemsworth was unknown on American shores. Then he wowed audiences with his turn as James Kirk's dad in "Star Trek" and won the hearts of Marvel execs, who gifted him with the role of Thor. How did Hemsworth prepare for the role? Not so much with comic book reading about Norse gods but with historical research about the Vikings.

"They live with this fearlessness, which for me was a lot of the angle I came at Thor with," he told us. "He does reckless sort of things, but his heart is in the right place. He believes it's right. He's not just a madman."

When it came to creating Thor's fighting style, Hemsworth at first turned to former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson. "Mike Tyson is very low to the ground, with a big open chest and big shoulder swings. Very sort of brutal but graceful at the same time," he explained. "As we shot stuff, we realized that it's virtually impossible to do that. The costume is pretty limiting with the movement, so there was a lot to work around."

Thor's Look: Armor, Hammers and Nakedness
As we saw in the Con footage, Thor is cast out of Asgard and lands on Earth, stripped of his armor and his all-powerful hammer. And without that hammer, Hemsworth admitted he felt more than a little vulnerable on set.

"You feel naked without it after holding it for a while," he laughed.

The actor went on to reveal that filmmakers employed various hammers depending on the needs of each scene. "There were a few different versions for different shots — the close-up one and the stunt one," he said. "The main one was very heavy, a beautifully polished, metal, wood, leather-looking thing. It was an impressive thing."

Equally impressive for the actor was Thor's costume, which had Hemsworth feeling nothing short of empowered. "I put the costume on for the first time and had the camera test and [co-star] Anthony Hopkins was there with me," he said. "We looked at each other and he said, 'God, there's no acting required here, is there?' "

Destroyer, Loki and Odin's Throne
Marvel's "Thor" effort at Comic-Con wasn't all about the central god, of course. Out on the floor was Odin's golden throne and the Destroyer armor in all its metallic glory. Hemsworth also gave us a sneak peek at Thor's battle with the nefarious Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

"We had a big rehearsal process with one particular fight scene we were doing and the whole time, Tom had his staff and his Loki helmet on with the horns," Hemsworth said. "He always wore it in rehearsals while he moved, so basically he's sweating and he can't hear anything because [the helmet] is extraordinarily heavy. He had this kind of crazy look in his eyes, and the whole time I was thinking, 'He's going to kill me!' He's swinging his staff and catching me in the legs and in the fingers and I kept thinking, 'He's going to hurt somebody.' "

Check out everything we've got on "Thor."

Brown surprises audience with onstage appearance during Usher's set at Reggae SumFest.

While Chris Brown has always made it clear that he looks to Michael Jackson for inspiration, there are nearly as many parallels to be made between Brown and Usher. And last weekend, Breezy joined Usher on stage during the Reggae SumFest 2010 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The duo wowed audiences in the concluding night of the festival.

Brown had already performed his own set on Friday, tearing through songs like "Run It" and "Forever" and showing off his formidable dancing skills. But it was his surprise appearance during Usher's set the following day that really set the crowd off. According to TheChrisBrownBlog.com, the two were also joined onstage by Elephant Man and later engaged in a dance-off.

Video footage from the performance had not surfaced online at press time, but photos reveal the two singing together and even showing some affection with an onstage hug.

Brown took to Twitter Saturday to thank Jamaica. "I wanna thank you Jamaica for your wonderful embrace last night at the show," he wrote. "Next time well do passa passa ... lmao ... (oh hell naw). Love ya!"

Later on Saturday, he tweeted about performing with Usher. "Me and Usher killin Jamaica right now," he wrote.

When Chris burst on the music scene five years ago, he was overcome with excitement when meeting Usher. "To see him face-to-face, I was like, 'OK, Chris, it's gonna be all right, just chill out right quick. You about to do the song, man, don't be no punk,' " Brown told MTV News about recording a song that was later featured in Usher's 2005 film "In the Mix."

50 Cent, Chace Crawford Late For 'Twelve' Premiere Due To President Obama

'We had to go all the way around to get here, but he's the president,' 50 said about Obama's visit, which blocked traffic.

NEW YORK — Many screaming girls thronged the Landmark Sunshine Cinema to catch a glimpse of "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford at the premiere of his gritty drug drama "Twelve," but it was the NYPD who stopped traffic — to make way for President Obama's motorcade during his visit to New York on Wednesday. The ensuing confusion made it difficult for the cast of the flick to show up for their own premiere.

"We shut down the street for the premiere and for me," Crawford joked to MTV News. "I didn't want any traffic on Houston [Street] and then Obama just swooped in — figures! I mean, I called and invited him and texted him and he didn't want to come. It's just a mess!"

Crawford's co-star 50 Cent was impressed by the way that Obama could just shut down the entire neighborhood.

"It's interesting — the streets are blocked off for a few avenues," he said. "We had to go all the way around to get here, but he's the president."

Zo Kravitz not only had to battle traffic to get to the premiere, but also the heat and humidity. "We were in traffic for the longest time and I was like, 'What's going on?' " she explained. "I almost got out and took the subway, and the only reason I didn't was because it was so hot my hair would have been out to here," she gestured.

And while the cast was excited to be at the premiere for the Joel Schumacher-directed flick, they know that at the end of the day, the big headline will be Obama's trip to New York.

"It's pretty ridiculous, huh?" Nico Tortorella said. "You're expecting this big ol' premiere and the president walks by and we can't compete! But it is what it is. Welcome to New York City!"

Check out everything we've got on "Twelve."
