It’s a done deal, y’all. All of those reality TV “guidos” and “guidettes” that you know and love have successfully negotiated new contracts with MTV to return for a third season of the hit show Jersey Shore. As you may recall, on Monday we learned that the cast were playing hard ball with MTV in the hopes of securing more lucrative contracts for another season of Jersey Shore … it appears that MTV decided to give in and up their pay because every cast member is returning for an all new season … well, every cast member except for one:

Finally … peace in Seaside Heights — because MTV has officially announced that the “Jersey Shore” cast is all set for Season 3 … with one big-ass exception. Sources connected to the show tell TMZ Angelina will not be returning to “Jersey” … but The Situation, Snooks, Pauly D, Jwoww — even Ronnie, Sammi and Vinny … will all be back. Buy stock in hair gel.

I understand that the cast got something like a 300% pay raise or something outrageous like that. Considering how little they were making to start with, the pay raise is significant but not unduly outrageous. Here is the official statement issued by MTV regarding the successful contract negotiations they had with the cast:

MTV is pleased that the Jersey Shore cast are returning to Seaside Heights to continue production on Season 3. Not only have they become a part of the MTV family, but fans worldwide have fallen in love with them.

And there you have it … more Jersey Shore with the cast of characters that American can’t seem to get enough of. It’s clear that MTV is not ready to gamble on the success of hiring an entirely new cast for the series so they are willing to pay more money to the cast they have in order to keep the show’s momentum going. Like it or not, there’s going to be a lot more fist pumping mayhem in the Jersey Shore.
