Last month we got our first glimpse at the new cast of the amazing British TV series Skins. Today we get a better look at the new cast of Skins season 5 … here is our first look at the new gang:
The Skins 5 cast, from left to right: Alex, Dakota, Sean, Sebastien, Will, Laya, Freya and Jessica. Five of them were chosen from the 7000 hopefuls at this year’s open auditions – find out more about them now.

This is the third time the cast of Skins has been completely overhauled. After the first 2 seasons of the show, an entirely new cast was brought on for seasons 3 and 4. Now this new cast will, presumably, be featured for seasons 5 and 6. As you may recall, plans are in the works for a Skins movie to be released next year which will feature castmembers from the first 4 seasons of the show (which is very good news, I think) and a US version of the show is being planned by MTV (which is very bad news, I think). Skins has to be one of my fave shows right now (even tho I live in the US and have to watch the show online after it airs in the UK) so I’m excited to see what kind of mischief this new cast will be getting into. I know there are a few Skins fans out there … so I gotta know, what do YOU think of this new cast? Do they look up to the task of bringing the fab drama next season?
