The Hong Kong Jockey Club's end-of-season race night at the Happy Vallery racecourse will feature a clash of giants as South African Douglas Whyte races against Australian Brett Prebble. Race-lovers will be out in hordes tonight, not only for the buy-one-get-one-free deal and games at the infamous trackside beer garden, but also the highly-anticipated race between two big champs. Every sport has its great collisions. Ali/Frazier, Federer/Nadal, Woods and well Woods and the next pretender. Very few though produce the sort of long-running saga that comes with a battle for supremacy between two great jockeys.
