After an extremely uneventful flight, I successfully arrived home in Detroit, MI for my quick layover to pick up my BFF Sarah before we fly off to Paris, France later today. After an extremely uneventful flight, I successfully arrived home in Detroit, MI for my quick layover to pick up my BFF Sarah before we fly off to Paris, France later today. I landed just after a thunderstorm rolled thru the area so the sky was all purple, there were people runnin’ everywhere. Okay, so notsomuch with the people runnin’ but the sky was a very cool shade of purple … it was a nice welcome home. Sarah and Mark picked me up and we immediately made our way to Little Tree Sushi in Royal Oak, MI for a sumptuous dinner at my fave sushi place on Earth. We ate and caught up and ate and talked about Paris and ate and ate. It was so fun.
And so … today our adventure begins! Sarah and I will be flying to Paris for the weekend this afternoon and we are both excited beyond words:
We arrive in Paris early tomorrow so it’ll take a bit of time to get adjusted to the time difference. I’ll be working on the blog every day that I’m there but I’m planning on treating the days like weekend days. I’ll do my best to bring as much goss as possible while we enjoy one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world! Sarah has never been to Paris (she’s actually never traveled internationally) so there is so much for us to see and do while we are there. It’ll be fun to share our adventures with all y’all, too :D
So … away we go!
