Hilary Duff’s Husband Mike Comrie Retires From Hockey

Mike Comrie, who is actress Hilary Duff’s hubby, made the announcement that he has decided to retire from hockey, as you can imagine with the baby on the way this is good news yet sad news at the same time. After having three hip surgeries in five years, Mike Comrie has decided to hang up his skates. He has played in the National Hockey League for almost 10 years playing for the Philadelphia Flyers, Phoenix Coyotes, Ottawa Senators, New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins. Comrie began his career with the Edmonton Oilers, which is the hockey team in his hometown. Mike released this statement regarding ending his career in the sport he loved so much and was pretty darn good at as well. My career has afforded me a series of phenomenal opportunities to play and become friends with some of the greatest people I have ever known and some of the greatest players who have ever played this game.
