Showing off her colorful summertime duds, a beautifully bright Miranda Kerr made her way to her latest gig in New York City earlier today (June 29).
Clad in a multi-hued print shirt, denim shorts and right blue wedges, the Victoria's Secret stunner quickly made the busy streets of the Big Apple her catwalk as she headed towards the West Village for her Vogue Italia shoot.
In other magazine news, Miranda, who covers Harper's Bazaar UK's August issue, opened up about getting her body back after having little Flynn.
“I didn’t feel pressure to snap back into shape. My priority was just having my son and breastfeeding, which was something I really wanted to do, and it came easily," the mom of one explained.
Kerr continued, “I do these exercises in the morning, they’re called chakra exercises. They’re a series of twists … It only takes about 10 minutes. It’s a great way to get your waistline back after having a baby!”

Jet-setting with her adopted newborn, Katherine Heigl was spotted loading up her truck with her husband, Josh Kelly, before making her way to the LAX airport with Adalaide in Burbank, California on Friday (June 29).
The "One For The Money" actress held her daughter in her arms the entire time while dragging her luggage behind and looked relaxed for the flight wearing a long black scarf over a loose white tee-shirt and a pair of flats with her leggings.
Marking her second adoption, Katherine opened up about how different it is this time around with her second daughter, “I had never had a newborn before. I didn’t really have that experience." admitting to PEOPLE during the 40th AFI Life Achievement Awards on Thursday, "So it’s all been new. I was prepared for the nights and having to get up and all of that. But the beauty of it is it’s really only a few months of your life that you’re walking around like a zombie because you haven’t slept.”
As for what, exactly is different the 33-year-old explained, “I think it’s far more chaotic than I anticipated, and I think every parent probably says that and every parent tries to warn new parents about it. And we all go, ‘Pish posh, it’s going to be fine. What’s one more?’ ”
Katherine also dished about how her 3 1/2 year old adjusted to the new family member saying, “Naleigh was super excited about having a new baby sister — until she arrived. Then she was a little hesitant about whether or not she wanted her to stay, and then she became her little protector and is taking on the role of big sister very seriously.”

Glam rocker tackled the legendary 1970 Led Zeppelin song for 'American Idol' rock night.
By Gil Kaufman
<P>Imagine a freight train speeding toward you at midnight. Or a rockslide barreling down a hill as you try to outrace it. That's the feeling of the ominous, chugging Jimmy Page riff that kicks off <MTVNLINK type="url" id="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/led_zeppelin/artist.jhtml">Led Zeppelin</MTVNLINK>'s 1970 Stonehenge of rock, "Whole Lotta Love." And that's before singer Robert Plant leans into one of the nastiest, ecstatic rock screams this side of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again."</P><P>That's the song Adam Lambert chose to sing on <a href="/news/articles/1610708/adam-allison-shine-on-idol-rock-night.jhtml">"American Idol" rock night</a> Tuesday (May 5), and, needless to say, it was a challenge that the eyeliner-loving Los Angeles stage veteran was more than up for, hitting a series of high notes and rock screams that would have made Plant proud. It was a risky maneuver that paid off for Lambert, who chose a tune that came in at #75 on <I>Rolling Stone</i> magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2004.</P><P></p><div style="margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px; float: left;"> <embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtvmusic.com:84215" width="256" height="223" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashVars="dist=http://www.mtvmusic.com" allowFullScreen="true" AllowScriptAccess="always"></embed></div><p></P><P>The legendary British rock act recorded the tribute to Chicago blues icon Willie Dixon during their second U.S. tour after working it out in their live show, including it on their 1969 classic album <I>Led Zeppelin II.</i> Like many of the songs Zeppelin performed early in their career, "Love" was a blues standard turned on its head with a heavy dose of crunching psychedelic guitar and thundering drums, courtesy of late drummer John Bonham. The song was based on a 1962 tune by another blues forefather, Muddy Waters, called "You Need Love," which was penned by Dixon.</P><P>For Zeppelin's version, Plant customized the lyrics by adding some lyrical quotes from a few other songs Dixon wrote for Howlin' Wolf, "Back Door Man" and "Shake For Me," nailing the tricky vocal in a single take. It was also inspired by 1966's "You Need Loving" from the British rock group the Small Faces, for whom Zeppelin had great affection, but they also did not credit Dixon for his part in writing the original lyrics. The song became Zeppelin's first U.S. single and their only U.S. top 10 hit. Though their manager would not let them release singles in the U.K. because he thought it cannibalized album sales, the song was finally released as the band's only British single in 1997.</P><P>Dixon sued Zeppelin over the song in 1985, claiming it borrowed too heavily from his "You Need Love," and Zeppelin reached an agreement with him, with Dixon using the money he received to set up a program that provided musical instruments for schools. A cornerstone of heavy rock, the tune -- which was the theme song for the long-running British countdown show "Top of the Pops" in the 1970s and '80s -- has been covered by dozens of artists over the years, from Tina Turner and Ben Harper to Prince, Slash, Leona Lewis, Train's Pat Monahan, the London Symphony Orchestra and Jane's Addiction.</P><P><b>Get your "Idol" fix on MTV News' <a href="/news/articles/1486475/mtv-news-american-idol.jhtml">"American Idol" page</a>, where you'll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions.</b></p>

During band's rehearsal break for Sunday's Movie Awards, we put Foos to the test.
By Ryan J. Downey, with reporting by Jim Cantiello
<P><b>UNIVERSAL CITY, California</b> — Hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore and punk have long gone hand-in-hand with evil wizards, magic, vampires and werewolves. Before we put MTV News' magically crafted trivia to the band, it seemed safe to assume the Foos would accurately distinguish between the words of Harry Potter, a "Twilight" character and Led Zeppelin. 'That is so shocking and horrifying and kind of beautiful in some way,' actress tells MTV News of her character's tragic end in the comics.
By Kevin P. Sullivan, with reporting by Josh Horowitz
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield in "The Amazing Spider-Man"
Photo:
The news of Emma Stone's casting in "The Amazing Spider-Man" was first met with almost universal approval. She would be the perfect Mary Jane Watson, fans thought. But when her true role as Gwen Stacy became clear, there was almost a bittersweet understanding.
If Gwen is remembered for one thing, it is her death at the hands of the Green Goblin.
When MTV News' Josh Horowitz spoke with the actress, she told him that the tragic end for the character was what initially drew her into the project. "That was part of the reason why I was kind of drawn to the role, that mark on pop-culture history," she said. "I read all about Gwen, and I thought that was so amazing."
Even with Gwen's death as an iconic moment in comic book history, canon is constantly rewritten for film adaptations. Stone sought answers from the filmmakers as to whether the film version of Gwen would respect the book, and she was pleased with the response.
"I spoke to the people behind the movie, and they said, 'Yeah, we're planning on staying true to the comics.' And I was like, 'If you're making a movie like this, that's something I want to be a part of,' " Stone said. "That is so shocking and horrifying and kind of beautiful in some way. The fact that people unsubscribed and burned their copies — I like anything that causes some kind of upheaval."
Her director Marc Webb couldn't say whether Stone's version of Gwen would meet the same fate in an upcoming installment, but he couldn't deny the allure of working with that moment. "I think that remains to be seen, but let me tell you this: The ultimate tragedy of Gwen Stacy is a really provocative and powerful part of the Spider-Man canon," he said. "I think it would be really extraordinary to explore that, but I don't want to take the wind out of the drama."
Check out everything we've got on "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Matt Barnes is covering the new issue of the men's fashion magazine BLEU. And the L.A. Laker is dishing all about his on-again off-again "Basketball Wives LA" star girlfriend Gloria Govan...and why he's unimpressed by the groupies in the league.
Peep his cover and London bathroom sex worthy quotables inside....
The Laker forward is posing on the cover of the new issue of BLEU, in what looks like his own gear out his own closet. During his cover interview, Matt gave a little insight into how he and his babies' mom Gloria get down.
On ignoring the groupie chicks around the league
"In the league, women come a dime a dozen. Not to sound stuck-up or anything, but that's just how it is. At some point you have to wake up and realize what your priorities are. Some guys wake up sooner than others. I woke up and I realized what was important to me."
On getting jealous of Gloria's relationships with other men during their breakups
"You like to go into a situation saying yes we are always going to be together forever and what's mine is yours, what's yours is mine, but sometimes it doesn't work out like that."
"Even when Gloria and I were dating other people, when people would say things about her, it bothered me. Even though we weren't together it was something that made me mad you know? It's different when they are talking about the mother of your children."
On how he and Gloria stay sexually happy
"So sometimes that means middle of the day sex. Sometimes that means after lunch you go and have sex in the bathroom. We do things outside the norm. I think we were in London last year in a really fancy nice restaurant and....the bathroom."
Matt is also prepping for his annual basketball camp with EA Sports for kids in the Bay.

In 'AHS' season two, Lange is 'a bride of Christ,' writer tells MTV News.

While there have been scant details regarding the second season of "American Horror Story" floating around since it was announced it would be rebooted in a new time and place with spanking-new characters, what fans have been most clamoring to know about is how season one bad girl Jessica Lange will be re-imagined for the series.
"She's not playing this kind of ersatz Tennessee Williams character this time," "AHS" writer Tim Minear told MTV News about Lange in season two. "She's playing something that's a little more East Coast, a little more patrician."
While she was a bit of a darkly motivated, self-involved floozy in season one, her new backstory seems to paint a different picture for the character. "She's playing a nun," he said. "She's playing an administrator of a facility. It's different. In this instance, she's a bride of Christ."
Season one of the FX horror series took place in sunny Los Angeles, which served as the backdrop to Murder House and its disturbed inhabitants, both living and dead. But, season two will take place in the 1960s on the East Coast with a mental institution as the locale for all the creepiness. Lange will call the shots, which is sort of what she did in season one as well, but it seems she'll be motivated in a whole new set of ways.
"We thought it would be cool. I mean, the truth is, when I first met with [creators] Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk about the show, I came in, I read the pilot script, and I'm like, 'OK guys, this is all very well and good — I don't know how you make this into a TV show. I don't know how you sustain this,' " Minear recalled.
"And Ryan immediately had the answer, and that was, 'Oh, the way we sustain it is by the end of the season, we have killed off every character.' And I'm like, 'I'm in!' And then you revamp it. Basically, in season two, you have a whole new story, a whole new location, a whole new time frame. You just do something different," he added. "The reason we're doing it in the 1960s is because that fits the story that we want to tell."
Given that anything is possible in the "AHS" world, there's a chance that the infamous Murder House just might make a cameo. "I wouldn't rule anything out," Minear shared.
Sure, everyone has been salivating over details about Lange and her newly learned good-girl character, but there's another casting that has everyone intrigued: Maroon 5 leading man Adam Levine has been cast as one of "The Lovers." "Let's say that Adam's character is kind of a nod to contemporary sensibilities, as opposed to something from the mid-century," Minear noted.
Levine joins other returning castmembers Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe as well as Lange.
Levine and his bandmates will drop Overexposed on Tuesday. They will sit down with MTV News for an "MTV First" on Monday to discuss the new album, and perhaps Levine will share more details about his "AHS" role.
Don't miss the premiere of Maroon 5's "One More Night" video during "MTV First: Maroon 5" on Monday, June 25, at 7:53 p.m. on MTV, followed by a 30-minute Q&A with the band on MTV.com.

'We created everything from a fictional place,' Tatum says, responding to allegations by former stripper co-workers.

Channing Tatum in "Magic Mike"

Channing Tatum is reacting to a group of male dancers who allege that the actor quite literally stole their moves for his new movie, "Magic Mike," which takes place in the shirtless world of male strippers.
Two male dancers, Thomas "Awesome" Austin and London Steele, who danced with Tatum while he was a stripper in Florida, told TMZ last week that the experiences in the film, and even Tatum's character's name (Magic Mike), are all their own. Austin told the website, "He only danced for four months. How many events could have happened to him?" He added that even Tatum's move in the film, the Hot Seat, is all his own.
Director Steven Soderbergh has said that the film is loosely based on Tatum's experiences as a male dancer. And in a new interview, Tatum is opening up about the claims against him.
"Those guys have been trying to make money off of me since I got into this business," Tatum told reporters, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Look, there's nothing that's factual in this whole movie other than that I was an 18-year-old kid and went into this world and I dropped out of college from playing football and was living on my sister's couch. There's not one character that I took from my real life; this is just a world that I went into, and I had a perspective on. And we created everything from a fictional place."
"Magic Mike" opens Friday, and Tatum is going into opening week with no ill will for his former co-workers. "I don't want to say anything bad about them because they're part of the reason why I think this world is so interesting," he said. "They're very interesting, intriguing and bizarre characters, and I'm thankful for weird people out there. They're some of the most creative people."
The June 29 film release also stars "True Blood" actor Joe Manganiello, "White Collar" star Matt Bomer and Matthew McConaughey.
In an interview with MTV News, Tatum recalled how the film came out of a conversation he had with Soderbergh. "I was having a beer with Soderbergh — we were doing a movie together — and I told him about [my past stripping]," he said. "I'd been doing it for eight months of my life when I was, like, 18 or 19, and he said, 'We gotta make a movie out of that.' And I was like, 'Why? Why do we need to do that?' And he said, 'I've never seen that world on film before.' And then we really started talking about that, and we thought it would be really hilarious but still grounded in reality."

Jen has a little bit of downtime before production on her next movie, We're the Millers, starts next month.

'Be willing to look stupid,' Anthony Mackie, who plays Lincoln's best friend in the film, warns.

Benjamin Walker in "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter"

Working with a director like Timur Bekmambetov guarantees a few things. You'll probably take part in some insane action sequences. And there will definitely be slow-motion.
When MTV News sat down with Benjamin Walker and Anthony Mackie, from Bekmambetov's latest film, "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter," they shared some helpful hints about how to properly act in super-slo-mo.
"Don't think about it," Walker said right off the bat. He probably had the most to do at the slow speed as our 16th president and first commander in vampire slaying, Abraham Lincoln.
But it's never that simple, as Mackie was able to attest. "Be willing to look stupid," he warned.
The final sequence of the film finds Abe and his best friend, Will Johnson (Mackie), atop a locomotive, riding along a burning bridge. It required a lot of slow-motion running and jumping. Mackie couldn't help but exaggerate his movement as he leapt from car to car.
"There's that whole sequence where we're jumping from one car to the other when the bridge is burning up, and I literally couldn't stop doing the 'swim' move when I was jumping. So Timur was like, 'Don't do the swim move,' and I was like, 'Sh--,' " he said. "So we're on the train, and he's like, 'Don't think about it,' and I'm like, 'All right, all right, all right.' Action, jump, swim. In order not to do the swim move, I do a shot-put move. Needless to say, I'm glad it looked all right in the movie, because I thought I was going to look like an idiot."
Similarly, during something as simple as a ballroom-dancing scene, Walker couldn't help act out the slo-mo. "When we were shooting the ballroom scene, it was in slow motion," he said. "I knew it in my mind, so I start kind of slowing down. He goes, 'No, stop. We'll slow it down later.' "
But if it came down to it, Mackie had one big piece of advice. "It's all about your face," he said. "They always say, 'Be careful about your face.' "
