Giving eager fans a sneak peek into what they can expect from the 100th episode of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," Shailene Woodley made a stop by MTV news on Monday (June 25) to talk about all of the juicy drama.
Opening right up about the highly anticipated episode, Woodley threw out a shocker by revealing that there may be something really unexpected going to happen, saying, "Tonight's episode... the 100th episode? We kind of, I like to say, were channeling our inner 'Glee'," adding, "There might be a musical number. There might be some singing and dancing by some of the characters on the television show."
One of the highlights in Monday night's episode that fans are awaiting is finding out the fate of Amy (Woodley) and Ricky's relationship and whether or not marriage is in the cards for them.
However, Shailene says the outcome may not be what you expect, explaining, "There's a lot of shockers," adding, "And at the end of the episode, I think some fans are going to be confused as to a decision Amy and Ricky made. There's gonna be a shocking revelation about the wedding."
Stepping away from the juicy details of what to expect tonight, the 20 year-old actress says the fact that the show is hitting their 100th episode is incredible. "I think we were all surprised it has lasted this long. None of us had ever done television before and I don't think any of us knew what to expect. And the fact that it has lasted this long continues to be a shocker. I think that the themes that we deal with, although they are exaggerated, I think the themes at their core are very relatable."
