While big numbers seemed to be a forgone conclusion, the question became how high "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I" would soar at the weekend box office.
Not disappointing, the Daniel Radcliffe/Emma Watson flick is on pace for a powerful take of somewhere around $140 million to easily claim the top spot.
The wizard-based movie toppled last week's winner, "Megamind," which is on pace for second with $16.5 million while "Unstoppable" is sitting at third with projected earnings of $13 million.
Rounding out the top five are the Robert Downey Jr. comedy "Due Date" ($8.7 million) and "The Next Three Days" in fifth with estimated earnings of $7.9 million.
