Offering up the first look at the highly-anticipated adaption, Walt Disney Pictures has released a teaser trailer for "John Carter."
The Andrew Stanton-directed action flick delivers an all-star cast that includes Mark Strong, Bryan Cranston, Taylor Kitsch, and Willem Dafoe.
The outer-space adventure, based on on the classic novel by Edgar Ricce Burroughs, tells the story of a military vet, who is transferred to Mars and and quickly becomes embroiled in a war amongst the planet's inhabitants.
You can catch all of the epic scenes of the live action film when it hits theaters March 9, 2012.
