In her sixth attempt to conceive, Celine Dion, 42, was happy to report that she was pregnant with twins, but admits that it was a tough road.
"I feel like I've been pregnant for over a year. I never gave up. But I can admit that it was physically hard and emotionally [hard]," she told the French paper Journal de Montréal of using in vitro fertilization to conceive. "There were so many great feelings after so much effort. I'm 42, I was in my sixth try. I felt the edge of the precipice."
Proud papa Rene Angelil says of his determined wife, "Everyone knows that Celine has the guts and she is determined. Its procedures are so difficult on the woman's body. ... It takes discipline and perseverance. We are so happy."
Halle Berry seemed to be having a great time as she hit the beach in Miami, FL with a few male friends over the weekend. The actress wore a blue bikini with a black net cover up. This girl is one hot mamma!
Halle laughed with friends, checked emails and even picked up a garbage can that had fallen over in the sand.
As far as work is concerned, Miss Berry is working on 'Dark Tide'.
A thriller centered on a diving instructor who returns to deep waters after a near-fatal encounter with a Great White shark.

Kylie Minogue’s new music video for her new single All the Lovers won’t be released until next week but today we get to see photos and video from a live performance of the song at the 2010 Wind Music Awards in Verona, Italy last night. The show took place at the Verona Arena and, as you might expect from a popstar who is releasing a new album titled Aphrodite, Kylie looked like an absolute goddess … behold:
Kylie Minogue has performed her new single live for the first time. She sang ‘All The Lovers’, the lead single from her upcoming album Aphrodite, at last night’s Wind Music Awards in Verona, Italy. She began the performance lying on a bed of male and female backing dancers, several of whom later carried the singer to the front of her stage to greet fans in the front row. Minogue, 42, recently confirmed that the ‘All The Lovers’ video will premiere next week. It will be available to download from June 13, with a full physical release to follow on June 28.
I understand the show was taped for later broadcast on Italian television but an industrious fan in the audience managed to film Kylie’s performance last night. Unfortch, the video quality isn’t great … and the shakiness of the camera is very disconcerting but I still think it’s worth checking out, after the jump …
Yeah, the quality of this video really sucks but at least we get a feel for how her performance went down. I am really looking forward to the release of the music video for All the Lovers next week but I’m DYING for the release of Kylie’s album Aphrodite. I want it!
Whitney Port and Ben Nemtin were hand in hand over the weekend during their walk through NYC. These two are certainly going strong. It's always fun to see a relationship blossom and solidify in Hollywood.
The reality star recently gave the press a sneak peek at the new collection for 'Whitney Eve'. What do you think about her style? Do you enjoy what she wears when you see candids of her?
Gettin’ Wiggy Wit It Last night a zillion friends got together to celebrate my dear friend Darion’s FIRST 29th birthday at a superfun Wig Party at The Abbey and from what I can remember, we all had a blast! Last night a zillion friends got together to celebrate my dear friend Darion’s FIRST 29th birthday at a superfun Wig Party at The Abbey and from what I can remember, we all had a blast!
I distinctly remember getting to The Abbey and sharing a few drinks with some very good friends in celebration of Darion’s bday … but at some point in the night the drinks worked their magic and erased much of my recollection. Thankfully, Darion’s camera managed to snap most of the debaucherous fun. After the jump, check out some photos (chock full of fabulous wigs) from last night’s fun …
David and I found our inflatable wigs in NYC and knew immediately that they would be PERFECT for Darion’s Wig Party. It was so great seeing old friends Steph & Alek and Jim & Derek as well as all of Darion’s superfabulous friends. Darion is honestly one of the best people I know and it was really cool seeing everyone celebrate him last night. We had an absolute blast … well, from what I remember. I can’t wait ’til we can do it all again!!
It’s the weekend … it’s the long weekend … I hope all y’all have a fantastic few days!!

After production was halted last week due to a fairly serious accident on set, things appear to be back to normal on the Manhattan set of the upcoming film The Smurfs. Last Friday a worker fell from a 30-foot platform while production was filming a scene at FAO Schwartz toy store but, thankfully, he wasn’t seriously injured. Today we get to see new photos of actors Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria with fashion guru Tim Gunn filming new scenes yesterday:
I still have serious doubts that I will like this movie once it comes out … but Hank looks so good as Gargamel and I just love NPH. Even still, I don’t think I can ever spend good money on any project that features Katy Perry (who voices, ack, Smurfette). I’ll do my best to keep an open mind but … I dunno. It’s fun seeing photos from the NYC set tho, yeah?

Lindsay Lohan Does MORE Shopping, More SCRAMming Yesterday we saw photos of Lindsay Lohan doing a bit of shopping in West Hollywood while taking great pains to keep her SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet hidden by baggy, bell-bottom jeans. Today we get to see new photos of L. Lo doing more shopping, this time in Beverly Hills, and more SCRAM bracelet hiding: You may [...]
You may also recall that yesterday we learned of Lindsay’s desire to find Chanel stickers to pretty up her SCRAM bracelet … but the fact that she is hiding her SCRAM bracelet inside her scrunchie boots prolly means she has yet to get the stickers she is looking for. I suppose we’ll get to see the various ways L. Lo plans to hide her bracelet until she’s ready to show it off. Any guesses how she’ll hide her SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet tomorrow?
James McAvoy Has Been Cast As Professor Xavier In ‘X-Men: First Class’ It has just been announced that Scottish actor James McAvoy, who below is lookin’ all beefed up and HAWT, has been cast as Professor Charles Xavier in the upcoming X-Men prequel film First Class, due out in theaters in Summer 2011. You may recall that last December, Bryan Singer talked to the LA Times [...]
British actor James McAvoy has landed another Hollywood action franchise with the lead role in the latest X-Men film – and he has a tough new image to match. The 31-year-old Scot, who rose to fame in UK TV’s Shameless, will play a young version of the Marvel superhero team’s iconic leader Professor X in a prequel to the blockbuster trilogy. A new still from the film shows the actor in peak condition, with his tanned torso looking incredibly toned and taught. X-Men: First Class, due to be released in 2011, will be directed by Brit Matthew Vaughn – fresh off his controversial superhero hit Kick-Ass. It will be McAvoy’s second comic book-based action series, after scoring a hit alongside Angelina Jolie with 2008’s Wanted – which is now getting its own sequel. Professor Charles Francis Xavier, the character’s full name, was popularised in the big screen trilogy by fellow Brit Patrick Stewart. A wheelchair-bound scientific genius with telepathic powers, he heads a school for youngsters with mutant powers and leads the X-Men team against rival Magneto’s Brotherhood. The new film will show the duo’s friendship in their younger years as they worked together against a common foe before a rift turned them against each other. Bryan Singer, who directed the original X-Men and its sequel, conceived the story.
Oh yes … yes, yes, yes … I wholeheartedly approve. I think McAvoy’s casting as Professor X is genius … I cannot wait to see who they will cast opposite him as a young Magneto/Max Eisenhardt. If X-Men: First Class is planning to feature James McAvoy lookin’ this good and his half nekkid, then sign me up. I am so on board with this casting … what do YOU think?
