Bonjour! We made it! After a very long 8+ hour flight, Sarah and I successfully arrived in Paris, France. To be honest, the whole trip was pretty much a breeze … there were no delays and we even arrived a bit early. I must admit, tho, that I was very disappointed with the Delta Airlines international plane we were on. It was an old plane with no technology to speak of. When David and I came to Europe back in 2008, we flew KLM and Air France and both planes offered much more entertainment and technology options. I just don’t understand why all planes can’t have something as simple as a power plug at each seat. BUT, I digress. Here is the last photo that Sarah and I snapped at the airport in Detroit, MI before we left for France:
I’m certain there will be a lot more photos to share once we get out and start enjoying the city. I fear I won’t be able to update my Twitter account as much as I’m used to but I’ll be blogging every day of this trip so you’ll still be hearing from me a lot. I’m counting on all you yankees to take care of the US for me. I’ll be back before you know it!
