The ministry of education has come up with a new strategy to help reverse the ever-declining marriage rate in Japan -- encourage people to do sports. According to Goo, the marriage rate amongst amongst 25-29 year olds fell below 30 percent by 2008 compared to 75 percent in 1950. The government has responded this year by telling its citizens to go for a run.
