The son of Ted Koppel died from a lethal combination of drugs and alcohol and has been ruled as "accidental," according to the New York City medical examiner's office.

Andrew Koppel had been out drinking with another man at NYC's Smith's Bar & Restaurant and was then found dead dead in a seedy apartment owned by friend Belinda Caban.

According to the report, he had died from an “acute intoxication due to combined effects of ethanol (liquor), heroin, cocaine, diazepam (Valium) and levamisole.”

Koppel was a student at Georgetown Law School and left behind a baby daughter.

Sad.
